My dissertation aims to create a localized solution for AI-assisted AAC tools. I’m exploring how on-device AI can be implemented to be useful in these specific contexts: communication support, aphasia. I’m aware of the constraints. I aim to have my dissertation point towards a more democratized future for AI-powered assistive technology
